Ford Focus Facelift

The Ford Focus facelift has just been announced a few weeks ago and now we have some new details about the upcoming hatchback. The facelift will be applied to all the models in the Focus lineup, including the high-performance ST and that’s not all the news about the ST. Because according to Ford’s Chief Operating Officer Mark Fields, the carmaker is planning on introducing a diesel version of the ST.

The engine will be a 2.0-liter TDCi unit that will produce 182-hp, which translates into a 0 to 62 mph acceleration in around 8 seconds and will allow the sports car to keep CO2 emissions to a minimum, 114 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Ford will also continue to offer the petrol ST, which will get the facelift but not any engine upgrades. The four-cylinder EcoBoost will produce 250-hp and peak torque of 360 Nm. Among the most important upgrades this facelift brings we have revised steering and suspension. That’s about all we have so far, but we’ll keep you posted once there’s something new coming from Ford about this.
