Paul Walker in Fast and Furious 7

Following Paul Walker’s death on that horrific crash on November 30, everyone was curious about how Universal will deal with that and how his character, Brian O’Connor, will be removed from the movie. Looking at the previous six movies in the series, all our money were on Brian getting killed, either by some maniac or during some high speed crash.

However, according to a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter, O’Connor won’t die, instead he will retire somehow. Apparently, after Paul Walker died, director James Wan met with the movie’s writers, looked at the footage they had so far and found a way to continue the story without O’Connor. Useless to say we hope they don’t fuck it up and we’re really, really curious about how the movie will turn out, since it will probably be the highest grossing of the series (remember what happened to The Dark Knight when Heath Ledger died?). So far, the highest grossing Fast and Furious movie was the last one, which kinda sucked, with almost $800,000,000.

But guess we’ll have to wait for one more year to see that, because, in case you didn’t know, the movie’s release date has been pushed back from July 2014 to March 2015.
