The South Korean car manufacturer is one of the main sponsor of what many see as the sporting event of the year, the 2014 FIFA World Cup which will take place this summer in Brazil. And Hyundai has already started promoting their interest for football by offering a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe to Brazilian superstar Ricardo Kaká, member of the Brazilian National Team and player for Italian club AC Milan. Kaká is already a brand ambassador for Hyundai, together with two other famous players, Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas and another Brazilian, Chelsea’s midfielder Oscar.

What’s interesting is that Kaká will miss the World Cup, being left out by coach Luiz Felipe Solari and we have a feeling that Hyundai wasn’t expecting this. But that doesn’t take away any of Kaka’s merits, the Brazilian being one of the best midfielders in the world and winner of FIFA Player of the Year and Ballon d’Or awards in 2007. “It’s a real pleasure to be a part of Hyundai Motor’s campaign around the FIFA World Cup. I’m happy to be sharing the passion and excitement of football with so many people, and it’s great to drive the Hyundai Santa Fe,” said Kaká during the presentation ceremony that took place in Milano, where the Brazilian and his family live.
