Trion Nemesis Supercar Concept

It looks like an Alien and the manufacturer promises it will have a “Predator Mode”…what more could you want from a supercar. Or a hypercar, because that’s what the Trion Nemesis is designed to be. When and if it will ever exist. Because so far it’s just a project unveiled by ambitious manufacturer Trion SuperCars, an American company based in Orange County, California.

The company has just released a set of images of the Trion Nemesis project, which is still in the early stages of development. According to the specs, the car will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 that will deliver somewhere around 2,000-hp and which, according to the manufacturer, will make everyone forget the Bugatti Veyron and even the recently launched Koenigsegg One:1, which debuted in Geneva. On paper, the supercar will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and will have a top speed of around 280 mph (450 km/h). All these will be possible thanks to a special structure made of carbon fiber and special alloys, plus an eight-speed sequential transmission. As for the “Predator Mode”, once activated, it modifies the ambient lighting, the suspension settings, the exhaust and the engine’s response.

However, we’re pretty skeptical about the entire thing, because we’ve seen countless no-name companies unveiling ambitious projects (remember the Arabs with their 5,000-hp Devel Sixteen hypercar?). So right now Trion needs to do less talking and more action, because we read on their website that they don’t even have a production facility, the current one being temporarily used to develop the supercar.
