Volkswagen Beetle Wood

The work of art you see here (because this is not just a car anymore), was created by 71 year old Momir Bojic from Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to him, the car is the result of his unconditional love for the Volkswagen Beetle, but we also suspect he had a lot of spare time. It took him two years to carve more than 50,000 pieces of oak which he used for the body, steering wheel, hubcaps, radio and gear knob. Damn, if you look at the gallery below you can see he also has a cap made of wood to match the car. The car is fully functional and, as you can imagine, it turns people’s head wherever it goes.
